Thanks for the info about the other meeting. I too feel the team is on the right track on have shown the reasoning for their current proposals (many times in fact). They do have their ducks in a row.
You also covered my other point in regards to Sherbs reply...they are planning on issuing 22,000 permits for muzzleloader. Doesn't that level the playing field for tags and the chance to harvest a couple of deer?
The reason I wrote the original reply was because I was worried it was another "one buck only" push by someone. No names necessary. I glad it was not.

P.S.: doe and bucks are being sited all over up here in the Cold Hollow area. I have a neighbor who has been here his entire life (retired hill farmer) and he states that he has never seen as many deer as he is now. Thats encouraging news.
They are laying out in the fields and under trees while he logs and cuts for sugaring!
