Thank you very much for providing the info. It is greatly appreciated. I can not attend the meetings due to distance, kids etc...so this is very helpful.
It sounds like it was a constructive and informative meeting.
I would like to note that you wrote about some feeling archery hunters have more opportunity, i.e., more tags. This is true, yet it is also a greater challenge to harvest an animal in this manner, not to mention having to be within 30 yards or so. Also, having a doe tag for rifle season is only asking for trouble, in my opinion. I feel there would be way too many hunters with the thought of "brown and down"idea, which may result in dead hunters. Some would shoot before REALLY identifying the target. Nothing is keeping anyone from taking up bow hunting anyhow. If they feel we have an advantage, join in and start bow hunting.
