Participants will be able to define collaboration as it
relates to parent leadership, learn the characteristics and principles of
collaboration, define the elements of effective collaboration and identify

Participants will learn the 4 stages of team development,
recognize the characteristics and challenges at each stage of development,

Participants will learn about strategies for structuring
teams so that meetings can be effective, learn about the processes that teams

Participants will be able to define the importance of
listening and asking clarifying questions in collaborative team settings and
demonstrate the ability to use the skills of listening and asking questions
in role play situations |

recognize different conflict styles |
Participants will define various approaches to dealing
with conflict, understand the uses, strengths and limitations to various

effective leadership and collaboration |
