Legislative Advocacy

In every legislative session- January through May- there is opportunity for consumers, individuals and families to share their perspective and story. Most often this happens via a phone call or email to your legislator, a visit to the statehouse in Montpelier or a local legislative breakfast.

These opportunities are very important to educate our legislators about the things that concern us as consumers of services. The best decisions our legislators can make are informed ones.
Legislators inform us that if they hear from even as few as 5 consumers/voters on an issue it can change their opinion and how they vote on that issue.
