NOVEMBER 4, 2008 SHREWSBURY ELECTION RESULTS

TOWN MEETING

Held on the first Tuesday of March

PRIMARY ELECTION

The September Primary election is held on the second Tuesday in September in each even numbered year.

GENERAL ELECTION

Held on the first Tuesday in November in each even numbered year.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The deadline for registering to vote for any election is at 12 Noon on the second Monday before any election. If there are any questions, please contact the Town Clerks Office at 802-492.3511  or you can go to the Vt. Secretary of State’s website www.sec.state.vt.us

In Vermont we make it easy to vote.  If you prefer to vote early or by mail you can vote by early voter absentee ballot. Voting starts 30 days before the primary or general election and 20 days prior to a municipal election that uses the Australian Ballot.
