Gardner Park Skating Rinks are Now Open!- It's a great activity...so come down weekdays
from 3-5pm and 6-9pm and on the weekends 12-5pm and 6-9pm to skate, play
hockey or just practice your stick handling and balance skills. Skating
is a Lifetime Sport with little investment money needed. We have a big
selection of skates that you can use, plus we have a warming shelter
with hot cocoa, snacks, water and candy for purchase. Everyone,
regardless of age, can enjoy this great sport here in Newport!

ongoing program requesting resident participation to monitor
suspicious activities or person(s) in our City Parks & Rec.
facilities.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Report any problems requiring immediate action to the Newport
Police Department at 334-6733 daytime, weekdays or 911 anytime.
Problems such as broken tables, fences, equipment, vandalism,
inappropriate usage of facilities, etc. should be reported to
the Newport Rec. Dept. at 334-6345.
NOTICE TO DOG
OWNERS
City ordinance states that your dog
must be under your control on public property, including City
parks and beaches. Please cooperate. For sanitary reasons, you
must clean up after your dog immediately, place in a plastic bag
and put in the trash. Please keep our facility safe and clean.
