I herewith make formal application for a mooring station in the City of Newport.
My signature affixed below will attest that I have read, understood and agree to abide by Ordinance #114, pertaining to Mooring Management of Public Waters governing the waters within the City of Newport. This also includes having my tackle installed by July 15 and my personal vessel moored to my mooring during the duration of this Certificate of Registration. For Marina and Yacht Club Certificates of Registration, tackle must be installed by July 15 during the duration of the Certificate of Registration.
In making this application, I understand that I have the responsibility for the care and maintenance of the mooring tackle placed in the location assigned to me by the Harbormaster. I will not increase or decrease the size of the boat using this tackle without written permission from the Harbormaster. I further agree, not to sell, trade, rent or barter in any way, any mooring station location assigned to me. Exception being:(a Marina or Yacht Club Group Certificate of Registration mooring stations shall be allowed to be rented).
